Tasteworks Cookery School and Kitchen Project
Since 2004 Tasteworks has been teaching and inspiring people to cook great food from scratch…
Evening & Saturday Classes…Informal but Informative…Suitable for Everyone…Basic skills to Specialist skills…
Open the fridge, and cook!
♦ A new kitchen garden is now in development. Growing vegetables teaches us what to cook and when, how to harvest, and how to use up the surplus imaginatively which bridges the gap between garden and plate. Boredom with food only kicks in if the same things are eaten all year round.
♦ Farm Shop now open, selling our own as well as fantastic local produce from all around Carlow and neighbouring counties. This is a project to show people how productive a smallholding can be, but also what passionate and commited food producers we have on our doorstep. See the Farm Shop page for a list of products that is available. Opening hours Thursday – Saturday 12pm to 7.30pm.
♦ Local , Seasonal, & Simple foods, that is what this is all about!
