Hurrah I don’t have to hide anymore…
I finally got my new website finished so that is news to be honest. It is amazing how an ugly site can affect how you feel about promoting a business…it’s like having a grubby shopfront!
Anyway this is a picture of the item which inspired the new logo amongst other things. It is a butter press that belonged to my great-grandmother in Schull, Co. Cork. Every one of these butter stamps were unique and were used to brand butter going to market so that buyers would know which farm the butter came from. I dearly love it. The workmanship is incredible.
There are so many balls in the air here at the moment, I feel like I am lurching from one end of the week to the next.. Hopefully after my new product launch at the Savour Kilkenny Food Festival on 24th October (a delicious all-butter range of ready-to-bake pastry dough – just wait til you taste the chocolate one!) everything will calm down a little bit.
It is great though to take a leap and re-energise a business. We all trundle along doing the same things the same way, and changing is enormously disruptive – but seriously satisfying. I’m looking forward to continuing to teach people how fun and easy it is to cook great food.
