We are developing a one acre kitchen garden currently. We put in a fabulously spacious polytunnel – for anyone who thinks tunnels are ugly you should see what a well-installed one can look like, this is fantastic. Highbank in Cuffesgrange is where it came from and it is so sturdy it withstood all the wind, rain, snow, ice, and whatever else was hurled at it all Winter and Spring. It is just a dream to cultivate our plot here, as it is incredible what can be planned into a typical rural site. Who needs lawns? They drive you mad anyway with all that mowing. Get growing!
Currently we have the following produce for sale:
Free-range eggs
French Beans (Green Beans)
Broad Beans
Lettuce
Rocket
New Potatoes
Parsley – Italian & Curly
Fresh Coriander
Scallions
Mint
Fennel
Oregano
I’m afraid we’ve eaten all the baby carrots!
